BING V GOOGLE

We all know what google is but have you heard about bing? Bing is new name and branding of Microsoft’s search engine and its entry into the market is causing quite a stir. As questions begin to circulate conversations and the online community, the debate is now on; can Microsoft’s Bing dethrone the king of internet searches ‘Google?’ Whilst many say Bing is not a Google Killer it certainly is a much more competitive product that Live Search.  Whilst Bing has in general performed well and there are not any significant deficiencies or missing links. The gap that previously existed between Google and Live Search is now largely gone with Bing. So, will people start using Bing instead of google? Google has become somewhat of a legend and for the timebeing it looks like Google will remain the number one search engine choice. Whether Bing’s massive ad campaign and its richer visual presentation will enable it to outshine Google, only time will tell. What we do know though it that is intended to make its technology more user friendly. Some of its differentiators from google include; searching for video clips that can be watched by moving your mouse over the results, better travel related searches that brings up ticket prices as the top result and a list of related searches in the upper left hand side of the results page, rather than at the bottom, where Google places them. However, despite some of its clear advantages, it will probably be some time before people start using Bing as a verb and use it in phrases such as just Google it.   Not sure, check them out and see for yourselfhttp://www.bing.com  http://www.google.com/
